Puff Digital is a global media brand offering businesses a full range of services from strategic planning to creative and content development, through execution and marketing. We also operate a cannabis news and entertainment network focused on building an engaged audience. The network currently spans fifteen publications and growing.

Puff is looking for a high-energy multimedia editor to help drive day-to-day engagement across our digital platforms. The successful candidate will be hooked into online trends and various forms of multimedia content creation. They will be able to quickly and effectively build stories across a range of formats, including video, written articles, podcast/audio, infographics, etc. He or she will help to set a high standard for timeliness, brand fit, audience relevance and strategic storytelling.

If you think you fit the bill you should have a track record producing and editing a variety of content, speak analytics fluently, and are active on all social platforms. You are a team player and a self-starter, at ease in a deadline-oriented setting, and are accustomed to fast-paced content creation in a 24/7 daily news operation. You have a startup mentality that’s a mix of curiosity and get it done attitude.


Additionally, you should be able to check off these skill boxes:

- 3+ years of experience in digital media, news or lifestyle, ideally including supervisory experience

- Ability to identify a good story opportunity and package it for digital distribution

- Familiarity and experience with Wordpress and other CMS platforms

- Experience driving engagement with content formats on social platforms

- Experience with SEO

- Ability to manage content contributors

- Familiarity with a wide range of content packaging approaches and publishing tools, including online breaking news, databases, wires, interactives, audio editing, podcasting, photography and videography

Are you passionate about digital advertising? Are you interested in building strong, meaningful client relations in the fastest growing industry in Canada? Do you thrive under pressure and hustle to get things done? If so, we want to hear from you! We’re looking for an Account Manager (AM) to join our growing Revenue team.

TThe AM role is a combination of sales activities and customer relationship management. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you’ll be responsible for both growing existing business and closing new digital advertising revenue from agencies and Cannabis brands. A successful AM must have a clear understanding of the client’s long-term business objectives and seek partnership opportunities to further grow the client’s business with Puff Digital. You’ll work closely with Puff Digital’s content and network team to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new campaign strategies and solutions to clients.


What you'll be doing:

- Identify, pitch, and close network and content sales with agencies and brands associated to cannabis

- Prepare pitch materials and respond to inbound sales opportunities

- Manage existing client relations and seek account growth opportunities


We'll be reaching out to applicants that have:

- A minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience in the digital advertising, adtech and content space

- Experience building client pitch decks (and the associated research) to close new business

- Willingness to travel to meet clients and close new business in person

- Grown sales pipelines with CRM tools for efficiency and transparency using a strong follow up process

- Managed successful client deployments and ensured ongoing client satisfaction, renewal, opportunity discovery

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment

- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
